A stage calendar turns that noise into a readable month view: which of the thirteen stages you were in on each date, what the order said, and what must happen before the next listing. Why a calendar beats a loose diary

Cause lists show the future one day at a time. Orders explain the past one hearing at a time. A calendar forces you to see whether your case is stuck inside one stage too long — common between charge and prosecution evidence, or during repeated witness dates.

Add a narrow column “Law cited” for BNSS / CrPC / BNS references on orders. Families migrating from old notes stay aligned with counsel without relabelling the whole file.

Parallel calendars to avoid

Do not merge unrelated matters on one calendar (bail in one case, trial in another). One calendar per case number.

Integration with parent finder

Each Sunday:

1. Enter the week’s hearing on the grid.
2. Open parent finder → tap stage number → copy one action into weekly strip.
3. Mark done or pending.

Separate calendars if case numbers or stages diverge; shared only if identical orders.
